Amplify’s Artist Grants program has supported over 150 (and counting) Omaha-area artists. Grants provide direct funding to practitioners seeking to deepen their creative research, engage with their communities, and challenge dominant systems. Artist Grants (2023)

Artist Grants support Omaha-area artists and organizers who orient their practices toward building just futures. These $500 - $1,000 unrestricted awards provide seed funding and direct financial support to artists actively engaged in challenging dominant systems, expanding their practices, and engaging with their communities.

 
 
 

Artist Support Grants (2018 - 2022)

Artist Support Grants are unrestricted $5,000 awards designed to give artists the chance to experiment, create new work, and develop new audiences. By recognizing and awarding financial support to artists in the region, Artist Support Grants highlight Omaha’s cultural diversity and enhance the city’s profile as a place where artists live, work, and thrive.

 
 
 

Micro Grants (2018 - 2022)

Micro Grants are one-time awards designed to provide support for capacity-building items like supplies, research, travel, equipment/software, marketing or promotional materials, professional development, and basic needs. Micro Grants are awarded in amounts of $250 or $500 based on individual need. Applications for Micro Grants are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed and awarded quarterly.

Public Impact Grants (2016 - 2023)

Amplify’s Public Impact Grant is a $10,000 award to an individual artist, collaborative duo, or artist collective working toward realizing a community-informed project that responds to systemic challenges and their impacts on communities. This award is designed to support artists and organizers whose practices foreground collaboration and public engagement. Awardees are given financial and organizational support and have two years to complete their project.
