Amplify provides resources for artists, organizers, and cultural workers to incubate liberatory ideas that move our community forward.

Our cornerstone programs are designed to interlock and welcome multi-year engagement with Omaha-area artists and organizers.

Alternate Currents

Alternate Currents (AC) is a two-year program designed to provide an alternative to a conventional MFA in which Omaha-area artists and organizers are both students and teachers. AC cohort members learn together, share resources, publish their work, organize exhibitions and panel discussions, and receive funding to support their work.

Generator Series

Open to Alternate Currents cohort members, Generator Series projects enable artist-led exhibitions and projects developed within the cohort to take shape in physical space. These projects encourage artists to continue working collaboratively in meaningful ways by self-organizing outside larger institutional systems.

Artist Grants

Artist Grants support Omaha-area artists and organizers working to challenge dominant systems, forge collaborations, and engage with their communities. These unrestricted awards provide direct financial support that can be used in whatever way allows artists and organizers to best continue their work.
