On Tuesday, July 19th, Amplify is hosting a virtual Generator Grant Info Session at 6pm on Zoom to answer questions, offer tips, and talk about the application process for these $1,500 project grants awarded by an external jury of culture workers and community members.
Please register to attend this virtual info session. After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to join the Zoom meeting.
More about Amplify’s Generator Grants:
Amplify’s Generator Grants encourage creative risk taking by assisting Omaha area artists through the entire process of organizing, marketing, and presenting a curated group exhibition, performance, or project. These $1,500 project grants provide funding and space that enable artist-generated content to take shape outside of larger institutional systems.
Project organizers develop a concept, framework for collaboration, and press and marketing materials. They also organize two public events during the 6 week grant term. Amplify is there each step of the way to lend support, advice, and resources that encourage self-organizing, collective learning, and critical discussion.
