Amplfiy’s programs nurture Omaha’s arts ecosystem by responding to and advocating for artists’ needs, cultivating a sustainable network of mutual support that allows them to live and thrive here.

We champion exploration over expectation, and support the incubation of liberatory ideas through funding, space, advocacy, and opportunities for collective learning, collaboration, and community building.

Alternate Currents

Alternate Currents (AC) is a two-year program designed to support artists and organizers working to incubate liberatory ideas that move our community forward. An alternative to a conventional MFA, AC cohort members learn together, share resources, publish their work, and co-organize public programs.

Slow Lab

Amplify’s Slow Lab incubates initiatives rooted in collaboration and research. It dedicates attention and organizational resources to the kind of systems level work that takes time like organizational change, public art partnerships, and fiscal sponsorships.

Generator Series

Our Generator Series projects enable inquiry-driven creative work, that invites participation and collaboration, to take shape outside larger institutional systems. Generator projects are entirely artist-led and receive funding, space, and logistical support.
