Alternate Currents cohort members guide Amplify’s programming, collectively organizing public facing projects, exhibitions, and panel discussions.
Cohort members work together over two years to better understand how justice in the arts is interpreted, documented, and enacted.
In their first year, cohort members:
Organize and lead monthly site/studio visits.
Share resources to contextualize group discussions during site/studio visits.
Collectively identify projects, exhibitions, and/or panel discussions to pursue the following year.
Receive a $1,500 stipend to support their work.
In their second year, cohort members:
Publish their work.
Participate in group projects, exhibitions, and/or panel discussions.
Receive a $1,500 stipend to support their work.
Receive additional funding to support projects, exhibitions and/or panel discussions.
