More about Amplify’s Artist Support Grants:
Artist Support Grants are unrestricted $5,000 awards, granted by an external selection panel of community leaders and culture workers, designed to support practitioners interested in expanding the boundaries of their practice at any stage in their career. Our special designation Artist Support Grants are for artists, culture workers, and creative practitioners working in any discipline who self-identify as a member of a community or communities that have historically faced discrimination or been denied access to institutional support based on race, age, national origin, religious background, differing abilities, sex, sexual orientation, economic status, or gender identity. Our intention is not to ghettoize, essentialize, or further marginalize any one population, but rather, provide increased direct financial support to adjust historic imbalances.
