Benson Arts Tour

  • Petshop Gallery 2725 North 62nd Street Omaha, NE, 68104 United States (map)

Patron Members of Amplify Arts are invited to join us for a guided tour through the streets, alleys, and arts venues of Benson. We will hear from a number of artists who have contributed to the vibrant culture of the Benson strip on a short walking tour, ending up at neighborhood favorite Krug Park for refreshments and to continue the conversation. Caitlin Little, Development Director for BFF (formerly Benson First Friday), will represent BFF for the evening. We will provide appetizers and each member will receive one drink ticket on us.

A Patron Membership with Amplify Arts is required to attend this event. Members should register through the Eventbrite link and password you received by email.

Amplify Arts’ new Patron Membership connects audiences to artists by making space to build and cultivate meaningful and lasting personal relationships. Patron Members receive invitations to monthly events - opportunities to meet innovative local artists of all disciplines and attend exclusive readings, performances, artist talks, tours, studio crawls, and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Memberships are priced annually at $75/individual and $125/household, and available to purchase online at this link: bit.ly/patronmembership

Agenda:  We will gather at Petshop Gallery for a tour of BFF’s headquarters, artist studios, and current exhibits. After that we’ll move outside to explore pieces of the Tiny Mural and Banner projects, then wander down the street to hear about the Oceanside Mural. Then we’ll head over to Krug to round out the evening.

Access:  We will meet at Petshop Gallery, where there are stairs in some parts of the gallery. The outdoor portion of the event will be on accessible sidewalks and paved and gravel alleys. The tour will be approximately 0.5 miles of total walking. There are ADA compliant bathrooms in Krug Park, our final stop.
